arts and crafts is my favorite part of our day.

we painted and colored and traced and stamped

and made a special card for grandparents day.

toots: who is that baby with grandma.

me: that's you. that's baby tootie.

toots: i not a baby. i big and strong.

me: indeed, you are, but you used to be a baby.

toots: I NOT A BABY.

[silence]

me: fine. that isn't you.

toots: told you so.

after toots poured a cup of water onto my laptop (dry out time = 5 hrs) this little bit of toddler mischief felt like a walk in the park.

the sun was setting, natural light fading, so i took advantage of the pretty colors the shadows created...

she's since added more colors and graphics to it and i love it. 

it's like having a basquiat painting on my window.
