i took this the other day after washing toots' hair (first time without tears was cause for celebration).

i miss her hair being out. summer time breeds space and time to let hair dry naturally, by sun and air and outdoor movement. winter air drys out the skin and strains the hair, so i use light oils and braids and tender mommy care to protect her fro'licious follicles weekly. by the time the weather breaks, her hair will be healthy, full and ready to be free again.
